WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY
1. OVERVIEW
Kilian Enterprises LLC ("the Company") stands behind the engineering and craftsmanship of our proprietary kiln ventilation systems. We provide a Limited 1-Year Warranty on all ClearFlow™ and related KilnWright ventilation products to ensure your studio or institution operates with reliable equipment.
2. WARRANTY COVERAGE
Duration: This warranty is valid for one (1) year from the date of the original invoice.
Scope: Coverage is limited to manufacturing defects in the fan motor, housing, and integrated electrical components.
Exclusive Remedy: The Company’s sole obligation is the repair or replacement of the defective component at no cost to the Client.
3. MANDATORY CLAIM REQUIREMENTS
To maintain a valid warranty claim, the Client must provide the following "Proof of Authenticity" at the time of the request:
Original Receipt/Invoice: Digital or physical copy showing the date of purchase.
Assigned Serial Number: The unique serial number issued to your unit, which is permanently affixed to the front cover of the Operator's Manual provided at the time of sale.
Verification: All claims are cross-referenced against our master production log to ensure the unit is within the valid service window.
4. RETURN PROCESS & SHIPPING
We aim to make the resolution process as seamless as possible for our clients:
Request an RMA: Contact KilnWright with your serial number and a description of the issue to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
Prepaid Shipping: If a defect is suspected, the Company will provide a prepaid return shipping label via email.
Secure Packaging: The Client is responsible for ensuring the unit is packed securely in its original packaging (or equivalent). Damage incurred during return transit due to poor packaging is the responsibility of the Client and may void the warranty.
5. EXCLUSIONS & VOIDANCE
This warranty is strictly limited to manufacturing failure. The warranty is considered void under the following conditions:
Installation Errors: Failure resulting from wiring, mounting, or ducting configurations that contradict the Operator's Manual.
Environmental Misuse: Damage from "over-firing" incidents, glaze/vapor contamination, or corrosive atmospheric exposure. (Consult Operator's Manual)
Unauthorized Service: Any attempt by the Client or a third party to dismantle or modify the motor or housing assembly without written consent from KilnWright.
"Grandfathered" Legacy Systems: Installing our ventilation system and connecting or bridging it to a secondary kiln or an existing vent system constitutes a Grandfathered Legacy System. In such configurations, we do not certify or guarantee:
The integrity or longevity of the motor.
The overall airflow performance.
The extraction efficiency of the legacy components.
Voidance of Warranties: Our systems utilize specialized, industrial-grade components designed for specific performance parameters. Please be advised of the following warranty conditions:
Third-Party Equipment: Use of our components in conjunction with third-party venting equipment voids any existing manufacturer warranties on that third-party hardware.
Integration: The act of "Grandfathering" a prior system or integrating non-approved hardware into our airflow circuit immediately voids all warranties provided by our company.
Note: To maintain full warranty coverage and ensure peak safety standards, we recommend a dedicated, standalone installation for each kiln unit.
6. INSPECTION DISCLOSURE
Upon receipt and inspection of the returned unit:
If a defect is found, the repaired or replacement unit will be shipped back to the Client at the Company's expense.
If the unit is found to be fully functional or damaged due to user error, the Client will be responsible for the cost of the diagnostic labor and all associated shipping fees.

Technical Disclosure: The Kilnwright, Thomas Kilian, operates as a specialized kiln technician, not as a licensed Electrician, and is not affiliated with, nor factory-certified by, any specific kiln manufacturer. All services are performed based on independent master-level craftsmanship. Electrical work is performed strictly as "Equipment Repair and Restoration" in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and manufacturer technical specifications. My focus is on the forensic restoration of the kiln unit's internal components, and I do not perform modifications to the building's permanent electrical infrastructure.
